Originally established as Quirk’s Commercial Hotel in 1911 which unfortunately burnt down, the St Amand hotel was built on the site and opened on the 2nd of September, 1918.

In 2019, Sarah Meadows and Matt Young took the opportunity to purchase the entire building. In honour of the history of the St Amand, they thought it only fitting that the interior styling should also match the era in which this grand old girl was founded.

Today, the St Amand is a boutique, luxury venue for hosting high quality business events, private events and weddings. The feel for this brand was Art Deco in style – dark, luxe, moody, chic, opulent, elegant, sophisticated and glamorous.
